Flywire, a global payments enablement and software company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Global PMO team in Valencia. You will drive the successful delivery of cross-functional internal initiatives across the business, working alongside business operations and key corporate functions including Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations.
In this role, you will manage assigned projects using a blended waterfall and agile approach, ensuring clarity, accountability, and measurable results. You will partner closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, bringing structure to complex initiatives while maintaining flexibility in execution. This position requires strong delivery discipline, proactive risk management, and the ability to build organic alignment across multiple stakeholders without direct line authority.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead planning and execution of cross-functional internal projects across core business functions (Finance, Operations, Legal, HR), translating business needs into structured, actionable project plans with clear milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish and maintain clear project-level operating rhythms, status tracking, and dependency management for assigned initiatives. Drive clarity on priorities, roles, and responsibilities across project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, risk/issue tracking, and decision-support reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early, proposing mitigation plans and escalating where appropriate. Communicate clearly with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority, building trust and collaborative relationships.
• Facilitate alignment among project stakeholders when competing priorities arise to keep initiatives moving forward.
• Support process optimization and workflow improvements within the scope of assigned projects, promoting project management best practices across PMO practices.

Requirements:
• 5–7 years of project management experience in fast-paced or cross-functional environments (Management/Strategy Consulting, PMO, or internal transformation roles).
• Proven experience managing different types of internal business projects using blended waterfall and agile approaches.
• Strong execution discipline with excellent organizational, tracking, and risk management skills.
• Ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous or evolving project workstreams.
• Proactive approach to risk, dependency, and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable coordinating across multiple business stakeholders and driving accountability against agreed actions and timelines without direct line authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2 level required).
• Strong preference for an Individual Contributor path focused on project delivery excellence.
