Precision for Medicine is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Central Laboratory Services to lead CRO laboratory projects remotely from Eastern Europe or the UK. This is a client-facing role responsible for managing the full lifecycle of laboratory projects—from conception through closeout—spanning assay development, clinical testing, biorepository/sample management, logistics, and study kitting for global clients.
You will own project planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, scope control, and budget management. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining project timelines and budgets, coordinating daily activities across internal teams and external clients, managing data and inventory, overseeing shipping procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client expectations. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting project updates at internal and external meetings, preparing reports, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
The role requires mentoring junior Project Managers, managing revenue objectives and project expenses, tracking relevant business metrics, and escalating out-of-scope work appropriately. You'll work on problems of moderate scope, navigating ambiguity with a systems-thinking approach, and building productive relationships across internal departments and external partners.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field (e.g., engineering), proven experience as a Project Manager in Central Laboratory services at a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company, excellent communication and listening skills, and strong proficiency with MS Office/MS 365 applications. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
