Precision for Medicine is seeking a Project Manager for Central Laboratory Services to lead CRO laboratory projects remotely from Poland, Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, or the UK. This is a client-facing role responsible for managing the full lifecycle of laboratory projects spanning assay development, clinical testing, biorepository/sample management, logistics, and study kitting.
You will lead and manage all aspects of designated protocols, ensuring project plans translate into action and measurable results. Key responsibilities include: developing detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans; coordinating daily activities and delegating responsibilities; serving as the primary interface with clients and collaborators on data management, inventory control, and shipping procedures; monitoring operational delivery against contracted timelines and budgets; preparing and presenting project information at internal and external meetings; and identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, risk management, and stakeholder communication. You will mentor junior Project Managers, maintain comprehensive project documentation, assess and mitigate technical and business risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client expectations. You'll also manage revenue objectives, track project metrics, and escalate out-of-scope work appropriately.
This position is ideal for someone with a background in project management within CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments, particularly in central laboratory operations. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, have excellent listening and communication skills, and demonstrate a system-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
