Voyager Technologies is an innovative space, defense, and national security technology company delivering mission-critical solutions for government and commercial aerospace customers. This Project Manager role is part of the Program Management department, reporting to the VP of Project & Mission Management.
You will be responsible for planning and executing projects from concept to completion across all phases. Key responsibilities include:
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Track project performance and analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and leadership
• Facilitate meetings including kickoffs, status updates, and retrospectives
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Perform post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement
The role requires up to 30% travel and involves sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds. Relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field)
• 5+ years of experience in project management or related role supporting complex technical projects
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including technical and project management staff, defining tasks, schedules, and levels of effort
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• PMP or similar certification
• Experience working with government and commercial aerospace customers
