Salary: USD 150,000 - 200,000 / annual
Voyager Technologies, a space, defense, and national security technology company, is seeking a Project Manager to support its Advanced Programs division, which focuses on early-stage lunar technologies and missions. You will define end-to-end mission concepts for NASA, government, and commercial customers, directly shaping the technologies and architectures for next-generation lunar landers, surface systems, and spacecraft.
Key responsibilities include developing program budgets and schedules for lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft; supporting proposal content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs; contributing to programmatic planning around schedules, resourcing, risks, and budget estimations; and communicating with engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve technical risks. You will build bottoms-up estimates including bills of materials, cash flow models, and labor estimates, occasionally participate in customer visits and technical interchange meetings, and run internal early technology development projects and paid architecture studies with oversight of budget, schedule, deliverables, and customer interfacing.
This role requires a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline plus 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience (advanced degree may substitute for some experience). You must demonstrate experience in project or program management, project finance, and program planning; developing programmatic content for proposals and customer presentations; authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes; and possess a strong understanding of launch, space, and lunar environments. Desired qualifications include understanding of full development lifecycle for large complex aerospace systems, experience with large NASA or USG proposals and contracts, knowledge of NASA/industry engineering standards, experience in agile environments with tools like Confluence and Jira, and eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
