Shift Technology is an AI-driven insurance software company that delivers AI agents transforming critical insurance workflows. As a Project Manager in the UK Delivery team, you will own end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise SaaS projects for leading global insurers.
You will manage the full project lifecycle from planning through execution, coordinating across Shift's Delivery, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and GTM teams alongside customer technical and business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining detailed delivery plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and governance; identifying and mitigating delivery, resource, commercial, and customer risks early; driving actions to closure with named owners and dates; providing fact-based reporting to customers and senior leadership; and leading customer workshops, steering committees, and recovery discussions as needed.
You will also support pre-sales activities by validating scope, methodology, assumptions, resource requirements, and timelines; challenge unsupported commitments constructively; and contribute to strategic delivery initiatives that improve execution predictability and scalability. The role requires managing multiple workstreams or clients simultaneously while maintaining control of detail and customer outcomes.
You bring at least 5 years of experience delivering IT, SaaS, data, analytics, or enterprise transformation projects, with strong experience managing complex, client-facing implementations involving multiple teams. You operate independently with sound judgment, demonstrate a proactive mindset that anticipates problems before escalation, and show strong ownership and follow-through. You communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, possess strong planning and risk-management skills, understand commercial dynamics affecting delivery, and are comfortable working in ambiguity. You have experience with tools like Salesforce, Jira, and Atlassian, and bring a continuous-improvement mindset with evidence of introducing better processes and ways of working.
