Pronto AI is a global leader in autonomous vehicle technology for mining and heavy equipment operations. The company deploys Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) that automate operations in mines, quarries, and construction sites worldwide. Unlike much of the industry still in R&D, Pronto delivers production-ready autonomous solutions already operating in the field. As Project Manager based in Nova Lima, you will own the complete lifecycle of AHS implementation projects, from initial planning through engineering development, field ramp-up, and assisted operations. Key responsibilities include: • Manage full project cycles for autonomous transport system deployments at large-scale mining operations • Conduct on-site oversight of field activities, ensuring technical quality and adherence to execution standards • Build and maintain local infrastructure (offices, workshops, connectivity, advanced inventory) supporting operational teams • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and management of local technical teams, fostering professional development and high-performance culture • Control project schedules, ensuring milestone and financial compliance, and delivery of engineering packages • Serve as primary client interface, managing stakeholder engagement, KPI reporting, and change management • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (engineering, field, safety, operations) for autonomous kit installation on heavy equipment fleets • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental (SSMA) requirements and regulatory compliance throughout all project phases • Manage project risks with mitigation and contingency planning to ensure operational continuity You will work across diverse environments: offices, maintenance workshops, control rooms, and active mining operations. The role requires constant travel and field presence in demanding operational settings. Required qualifications: Advanced English (daily interface with US-based global engineering and leadership reporting); bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Computer Science, Electronics, or related); minimum 5 years project management experience with proven track record on large-scale mining or industrial projects; solid knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK/FEL) and planning tools; experience in project financial management, contract management, and multidisciplinary team leadership; availability for frequent travel; valid Category B driver's license.
