Moody's Ratings is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead AI Enablement initiatives within the AI Analytics group. This role oversees the planning, execution, and release of multiple ML/GenAI projects aligned with strategic business objectives. You will manage dependencies across internal and external squads, facilitate quarterly planning and roadmap alignment with engineering and product teams, and champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) across cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include: overseeing multiple ML/GenAI project delivery; managing inter-squad dependencies to ensure smooth progress and timely product increments; facilitating Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and workshops to foster adaptability and innovation; engaging with senior stakeholders across analytical and technology teams; maintaining transparency through dashboards, OKRs, and performance reporting; assisting with product pilot programs, rollouts, and user feedback collection; proactively identifying and mitigating delivery risks; tracking quality metrics and driving continuous improvement; partnering with data science, ML operations, and front-end teams to optimize release processes; and ensuring alignment of delivery with product vision and business strategy.
You will guide teams in building robust, scalable, and secure ML/GenAI solutions while modeling Moody's values: openness, diversity, inclusivity, respect, and a willingness to learn.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience leading end-to-end delivery of AI/Machine Learning initiatives in complex environments
- Proficiency coaching Scrum/Kanban practices; ability to drive ceremonies and continuous improvement
- Strong backlog and execution management: building, prioritizing, and managing backlogs; aligning scope, timeline, and quality across squads
- Excellent stakeholder communication: delivering project status updates, managing dependencies/risks, facilitating decisions
- Project reporting and governance: maintaining dashboards and documentation; enforcing delivery standards and controls
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile estimation (story points, velocity, burndown)
- Demonstrated proficiency in AI concepts with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows
- Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges
- Good knowledge of finance concepts, notably financial analysis
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of data science workflows, coding concepts, AWS, and enterprise deployments
- Experience scaling delivery across regions and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with ML and GenAI tools and frameworks
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (business degrees acceptable with prior hands-on technical experience)
- Professional certifications: PMP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent Agile certifications (SAFe, Scrum Master)
