Verkada is seeking a Senior Project Architect for its Global Services division to support large, strategic customers with post-sales deployment and technical excellence. The role combines project management, technical consulting, and customer success responsibilities. You will serve as the subject matter expert on Verkada's integrated physical security platform—which includes video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management—and guide Fortune 500 customers through deployment, configuration, and optimization. Your responsibilities include managing customer projects end-to-end, ensuring successful product deployments in customer environments, configuring and fine-tuning features to maximize value, and providing expert-level training to stakeholders ranging from C-suite executives to IT directors and loss prevention teams. You will work closely with the Global Services Manager and Territory Account Executives to develop service strategies, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and act as a technical evangelist internally and externally. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in cloud security, IoT systems, networking, Linux, security surveillance, and access control. Required qualifications include 4+ years as a Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Network Engineer, or Professional Services Consultant, preferably with Fortune 500 experience. You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Networking, IT Security, or related field. Strong networking fundamentals (HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, firewalls) are essential. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for FedRAMP compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication, entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness to travel up to 50% are expected. Preferred qualifications include industry certifications (AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+), Linux systems experience, and prior startup exposure. The role requires full-time, on-site presence in New York City, five days per week.
