Helsing is a defence AI company building sovereign space-based capabilities for Europe in Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting. The company is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to own end-to-end management of a major space programme.
In this role, you will have full ownership of strategy, governance, and delivery for one of Helsing's space programmes. You will manage complex stakeholder relationships across government partners, industry contractors, and internal technical teams, ensuring customer requirements translate into executable delivery plans. This is high-stakes, fast-paced work requiring prior experience in demanding environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shaping and executing programme strategy, vision, and roadmap
- Organizing workstreams across Helsing and industry partners with clear ownership and accountability
- Facilitating key programme meetings (status reviews, steering committees, stand-ups) with thorough documentation and action tracking
- Representing the programme credibly with senior government and industry stakeholders
- Serving as the central point of contact for programme information, maintaining a single source of truth
- Preparing high-quality briefing packs, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and external stakeholders
- Engaging with technical delivery teams to understand progress, challenges, and resource needs, translating insights to programme level
- Supporting programme governance and compliance throughout the lifecycle
You should have significant experience managing complex programmes or projects in the space sector with clear ownership of outcomes, demonstrated experience managing government programmes in defence or dual-use contexts, and a track record of translating demanding customer and regulatory requirements into executable delivery plans.
