ICEYE is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead complex satellite mission programs for ESA and EU-funded customers. You will orchestrate end-to-end program delivery from contract bid through execution, acting as the central coordinator across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams.
Key responsibilities include:
**Program Delivery (70%):** Own satellite mission programs from planning through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and performance targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with ESA, EU, and national space agency stakeholders. Develop comprehensive program plans that align internal and external teams, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and drive measurable improvements in delivery efficiency and scalability. Provide stakeholders with timely visibility into program status.
**Capture & Proposal Support (30%):** Support Sales in developing competitive, compliant ESA/EU bids and ITT responses. Ensure contractual terms (milestones, payment plans, IPR, liability) are sound. Capture lessons learned from won and lost bids to improve future proposal quality.
You will lead cross-functional teams in a coordinated, outcome-driven manner, reducing bottlenecks and accelerating mission execution. The role is based in Warsaw with travel to Espoo (Finland) and customer sites as required.
Required qualifications: 5–10 years delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs in advanced technology (space, defence, telecom, automotive, IT). Direct experience with ESA and/or EU-funded programmes, including ECSS/PSS standards and EU procurement frameworks. Strong customer-facing skills managing senior stakeholders and complex requirements. Expertise in end-to-end program management (scope, schedule, budget, risk). Proven leadership of cross-functional teams. Experience supporting or leading bid/proposal management. Strong analytical and communication skills. Degree in business, engineering, or related field. Must have or be able to obtain EU residence.
Desirable: Earth Observation, SAR, or remote sensing experience; complex systems or product development background; government or defence customer experience; knowledge of hardware, software, or embedded systems; advanced degree or certifications (PMP, PgMP).
