AEVEX is seeking a Program Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated master schedules supporting program management, demand planning, and capacity resource analysis across facility product lines. This is a full-time, onsite role in Murrieta, California, with occasional travel.
You will synchronize inputs from growth, program management, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure alignment with contractual commitments and delivery milestones. Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with Program Managers to develop resource-loaded integrated master plans and schedules for complex aerospace projects
• Tracking and maintaining project plans to ensure alignment across demand, supply, capacity, and execution priorities
• Coordinating new project introductions and engineering changes, managing effectivity dates and implementation plans
• Monitoring adherence to master schedules and tracking critical metrics including program milestones, on-time performance, schedule attainment, past-due risks, and lead time performance
• Driving corrective actions with program teams, operations, and supply chain partners
• Partnering with supply chain to ensure long-lead and regulated components (ITAR, export-controlled, electronics, composites) are procured in line with lead times
• Maintaining planning data integrity in ERP/MRP systems (BOMs, routing-based lead times, work centers, planning parameters)
• Providing regular status and risk updates to program management and leadership regarding bids, proposals, and capacity planning for aircraft modification programs
• Supporting pursuit strategy and proposal development
• Supporting internal and customer audits related to planning and scheduling in defense aerospace environments
• Managing risk and opportunity (R&O) plans to address schedule and resource impacts
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; 3+ years in planning/scheduling or finance; proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (InFor, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and project management tools (Microsoft Project or equivalent); ability to interpret technical requirements, engineering documentation, and BOMs; strong cross-functional collaboration skills; knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles; proficiency in schedule performance and program health metrics analysis; strong attention to detail.
Aerospace or defense experience is preferred. This position is safety-sensitive and subject to antidrug and alcohol misuse prevention program compliance per 14 CFR regulations.
