Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Program Operations Manager to join its Maritime Division's Heavy Metal business line. This hybrid role serves as the operational backbone for a new autonomous maritime platform program, acting as the connective tissue between the Program Manager and key functional areas including Finance/EVMS, Stakeholder Integration, Supply Chain, Workforce Development, and Facilities.
You will balance program-facing execution (cost, schedule, EVMS discipline) with division-level strategic operations. Key responsibilities include: coordinating across program areas of responsibility to enable scaling and on-time delivery; supporting stakeholder integration with customers, prime partners, government, and community stakeholders; translating procurement and vendor data into program-level risk visibility; partnering with workforce development to scale hiring and training for exponential growth; integrating facility readiness with product build planning; leading strategic initiatives and special projects; supporting corporate planning cycles; and onboarding new team members while establishing operating cadence.
You will be equally comfortable in a manufacturing bay and in executive reviews. The role requires comfort with complex, ambiguous cross-functional problems, high ownership with low ego, tactical and strategic thinking, and fluency across finance, supply chain, workforce, and construction domains. This is positioned as one of Anduril's largest and fastest-growing programs, with a digital-first production system and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Required: 3+ years in program operations, consulting, corporate strategy, finance, defense/aerospace program management, or business analysis. You must be a fast learner, data-oriented problem solver, and comfortable with unglamorous execution work.
