OpenRouter is building the unified interface for LLMs, routing billions of tokens monthly across 400+ models and providers. As the company scales its provider ecosystem, relationships need to transition from ad-hoc deals to a repeatable, product-like program. You'll own the end-to-end provider lifecycle: sourcing, onboarding, activation, quarterly business reviews, and renewal. You'll design and maintain the provider tiering framework that classifies partners and sets expectations. Your core mission is turning one-off relationships into scalable systems—templates, playbooks, self-serve onboarding, and automated communications—so the program grows without linear headcount increases. You'll operate cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Security to unblock providers and ship improvements. You'll run flagship programs including the Model Provider Early Access Program (MPEAP) and verified/certified provider tracks. You'll execute program-wide operations like re-papering all providers, launching new tiers, and rolling out compliance attestations as coordinated motions. You'll own the compliance cadence, keeping SLAs and attestations auditable and on schedule. You'll set the operating rhythm—reviews, reporting, and alignment cadence—for the team. This is a high-ownership role that requires strong systems thinking, the ability to impose structure on ambiguity, and excellent written communication to translate complex multi-stakeholder programs into clear documentation and playbooks. You'll thrive in a small, fast-moving team with intentionally fluid boundaries and high agency.
