Saronic Technologies is seeking a Program Manager for Mission Package Integration to lead the technical execution, integration, and delivery of mission packages, modules, and payloads onto its autonomous surface vessel (ASV) platforms. This role bridges Saronic's growing portfolio of vessels—including the 180ft Marauder, Corsair, and Mirage—with both custom and commercial off-the-shelf integration solutions.
You will serve as a technical executor and leader, responsible for end-to-end program delivery from design through field deployment and sustainment. Key responsibilities include translating high-level customer and strategic requirements into actionable technical steps for engineering and operations teams; maintaining technical baselines and traceability across multiple mission packages; identifying and mitigating technical and programmatic risks; and coordinating complex integration, testing, and on-water operations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Software, Forward Deployed Engineering, Mission Operations, Product, Production, and Quality. You'll participate in Engineering Change Boards, design reviews, field demonstrations, and technical exchanges with customer stakeholders. You'll also capture lessons learned from test events and field operations to drive continuous improvement.
The role requires strong technical acumen in mechanical, electrical, software, and autonomy integration principles, combined with excellent communication skills to interface confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll travel up to 25% of the time to support field trials, customer engagements, and on-water operations.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related technical field; 5+ years of experience in technical program management, systems integration, or defense-related development programs; demonstrated success leading cross-functional technical teams through design, build, and integration lifecycles; and Secret security clearance eligibility (active clearance preferred). Experience managing unmanned defense, maritime, or robotic systems is preferred.
