Salary: USD 170,000 - 230,000 / annual
Skydio is seeking a strategic operator to lead enterprise site security deployments and technology adoption. This role bridges product, engineering, security, and operations teams to evaluate emerging autonomous drone technologies, build business cases for adoption, and scale successful pilots into enterprise-wide operations.
You will own the full lifecycle of technology evaluation and operational deployment: developing structured assessment frameworks, building ROI models, designing operating procedures, establishing governance and training, and measuring post-deployment performance. You'll lead a portfolio of concurrent strategic initiatives supporting commercial site security programs, managing budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating emerging technologies (AI, automation, autonomous systems, computer vision) for operational feasibility and business impact
- Developing financial and operational ROI models to support executive decision-making
- Designing and implementing operating models that embed new technologies into standard business processes
- Leading complex cross-functional programs involving Product, Engineering, Security, IT, and Operations
- Building and mentoring a team of program managers and operational subject matter experts
- Establishing governance, documentation, training, and success metrics for sustainable adoption
- Tracking benefit realization and continuously optimizing processes based on business outcomes
You'll serve as the operational bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders, resolving organizational challenges, aligning priorities, and influencing executives through data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate has 8+ years leading enterprise operational programs, technology operations, or business transformation within a large enterprise or technology company. You should have demonstrated success transitioning emerging technologies from pilot to enterprise-scale deployment, strong understanding of change management and enterprise processes, and excellent executive communication skills. Experience with commercial site security, physical security operations, or evaluating AI/robotics/autonomous systems is preferred.
