Voyager Technologies is seeking a Program Manager IV to lead defense and national security programs. This role reports to the Director of Advanced Technology Programs within the Science & Technologies department and is based in Reno, NV (hybrid/onsite). You will manage all phases of program execution for complex defense and aerospace initiatives, including DOD propulsion-related programs. Key responsibilities include: • Planning, directing, and monitoring projects to ensure scope, schedule, and budget alignment; owning project-level P&L • Developing and reviewing comprehensive program management documentation (status reports, PDR/CDR materials, planning docs, CDRLs, presentations) • Ensuring adequate resources (engineering, manpower, production, facilities) are allocated and available • Directing assigned project staff on budgeting and program execution • Identifying and proactively escalating program risks and issues to management • Serving as primary customer contact and pursuing follow-on business opportunities • Managing large subcontracts and ensuring adherence to internal PM processes • Participating in customer meetings, peer reviews, and problem-solving sessions • Contributing to proposal development for follow-on work • Traveling up to 25% to customer locations Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience); 15+ years of program management experience including 10+ years managing DOD propulsion programs; demonstrated expertise with Integrated Master Schedules, Integrated Master Plans, and Earned Value Management; direct experience managing large subcontracts; experience with U.S. Government customers. Preferred: Master's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering; rocket propulsion defense system program management; Missile Defense Agency program experience with MAP/PMAP requirements; executive briefing experience. Key skills: multitasking in collaborative environments, excellent verbal and written communication, rapid problem-solving, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Project, familiarity with Integrated Program Management Tools, basic understanding of solid rocket motor design. Must obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance.
