LevelTen Energy is a Series D clean energy transaction infrastructure company that has facilitated over $14.8 billion in renewable energy deals since 2016. They're hiring a Program Manager for Engineering Operations to support the scaling engineering organization.
The role combines hands-on program delivery with operational excellence. You'll own internal engineering projects end-to-end—scope definition, milestone planning, deliverable tracking, and timeline management. You'll develop contingency plans for dependency slips and resource constraints, operating effectively in a matrixed environment where engineering capacity is shared across competing priorities.
Key responsibilities include: serving as the embedded program management presence for assigned engineering teams; owning release coordination across weekly feature releases, vulnerability patches, and hotfixes; running project cadence and reporting including status updates and decision logs; analyzing engineering delivery metrics to surface process improvements; maintaining SDLC documentation; supporting vendor governance for contracted engineering partners; and reducing manual work through tooling and automation.
You'll report to the Sr. Technical Program Manager and work closely with Engineering, Product, Data, Analytics, and Infrastructure teams.
Required qualifications: 2-4 years in technical program management, engineering operations, or comparable delivery-focused role in software. Strong knowledge of Kanban, Scrum, and Agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage timelines across teams you don't directly manage and influence without authority. Strong analytical skills, exceptional organization, excellent communication across technical and executive audiences. Hands-on experience with AI tools (specifically Claude) for program management work. Familiarity with Jira/Confluence or equivalent tools. Comfort working across product engineering and data/analytics engineering contexts.
Nice-to-haves include: BigQuery or data warehouse experience, data pipeline familiarity, vulnerability management exposure, nearshore/offshore vendor experience, SaaS/marketplace background, or renewable energy/climate tech exposure.
