Voyager Technologies is seeking a Program Manager with a strong engineering background to lead complex embedded systems programs supporting defense and space applications. This is a hands-on technical program leadership role requiring close collaboration with engineering teams, understanding of technical tradeoffs, and disciplined execution across cost, schedule, scope, risk, compliance, and customer commitments. You will own program performance across all dimensions—cost, schedule, technical scope, risk, quality, contractual deliverables, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include leading planning and execution of embedded systems programs for defense and space customers; partnering closely with engineering teams to assess technical requirements and risks; developing and maintaining integrated program plans, schedules, risk registers, and executive-level status reporting; and driving cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, contracts, finance, business development, and customer-facing teams. You will identify program risks, dependencies, and blockers early; develop mitigation plans; and drive issues to closure. The role requires operating effectively in ambiguous environments, making informed decisions with incomplete data while refining assumptions and priorities. You will lead recovery efforts for challenged programs by establishing clear priorities, improving execution discipline, and driving accountability. Additional responsibilities include supporting contract review, proposal input, statements of work, and customer communications; ensuring program execution aligns with prime contract requirements and compliance obligations (DFARS, ITAR); and building strong customer relationships through disciplined execution, proactive communication, and transparency. This role is well-suited for someone with startup or growth-stage experience where program managers wear multiple hats, solve problems proactively, and drive outcomes without waiting for perfect information. You must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline; engineering background with experience on complex technical programs involving embedded systems, avionics, electronics, or hardware/software integration; 3+ years of program management or technical program management experience supporting complex technical programs; and experience in defense, space, or other highly regulated technical environments.
