Salary: USD 140,000 - 170,000 / annual
Voyager Technologies is seeking a Program Manager for Strategic Systems to lead and execute a portfolio of 3–10 programs focused on solid rocket motors, chemicals, and explosives. Reporting to the General Manager of Voyager Energetics, you will be based in Pueblo and Penrose, Colorado, with the option of hybrid work for highly qualified candidates.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive, coordinated plans for multiple projects, managing scope, schedule, cost estimates, risk assessments, and resource allocation. You will serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and government agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives. You will monitor and project budgets and financials throughout the project lifecycle, manage scope changes, and ensure alignment with program goals and customer expectations.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or management (or equivalent experience), 10+ years in project or supply chain management and operations, experience managing defense or government projects, contract negotiation experience with vendors/suppliers/customers, and proficiency with project management software.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required), meet all eligibility requirements for state and federal explosives licenses (21+, drug-free workplace compliance), and conform to ITAR export regulations. Travel up to 30% is expected, including possible overnight stays to customer sites, industry conferences, and program reviews.
