Salary: USD 148,000 - 179,000 / annual
Datadog is expanding its investment in AI and developer-focused events and community programs. As Program Manager on the Community team, you'll lead the planning and execution of high-impact events that connect Datadog's technical advocacy efforts with customers globally.
You'll own the full lifecycle of AI and developer events: identifying opportunities for meetups, hands-on learning sessions, and sponsored events; planning technical programming for events Datadog hosts or sponsors; and supporting AI/developer content at major global events like DASH (Datadog's annual conference). You'll track deadlines and deliverables for digital and physical assets, coordinate with vendors and procurement teams, and identify/resolve risks and blockers.
Operationally, you'll maintain internal tools and public websites for event agendas and speaker content, own the onsite speaker experience for both internal and customer speakers, and manage event programming onsite—coordinating rehearsals, staffing, and ensuring smooth operations. You'll collaborate closely with Community teams, external stakeholders, and the VP of Community to create and refine processes with a focus on continual improvement, automation, and scaling.
You'll communicate goals, status, risks, and impact across teams to ensure alignment and visibility. The role requires approximately 2–5 years of program management experience in similar technical environments (ideally B2B SaaS), with proven ability to lead large-scale conferences and related initiatives. You should have strong cross-functional collaboration skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and a data-driven mindset. Experience influencing without direct authority at senior levels is important. Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally is required.
