Kela Technologies is a defense technology startup building next-generation command & control and data infrastructure systems. This Professional Services Engineer role sits on the Technical Operations team and owns the full technical lifecycle for customers—from initial deployment and system integration through ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
You will lead site setup and integration, standing up new deployments, configuring systems, and integrating the full stack including cameras, radars, networking, edge compute, and the Kela platform. You'll be the technical owner for one or more customer projects, following them from day one and maintaining the deepest context on every detail.
Key responsibilities include owning ongoing maintenance and upgrades across the production fleet (version rollouts, config changes, hotfixes), troubleshooting issues that span application, infrastructure, and network layers, and acting as an escalation point for support and field operations engineers. You'll work closely with R&D, systems, algorithms, design, and other teams when issues require deeper investigation.
You'll also write and maintain runbooks, documentation, and tooling that make future deployments smoother, and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams—especially during time-sensitive situations. Most work is office-based in Tel Aviv, with occasional travel to customer sites for hands-on deployment and support.
