You will personally draft and revise statements of work (SOWs), validate pricing and deal inputs, coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals, and ensure commitments are clear, deliverable, and ready to execute. The role sits at the intersection of commercial operations and delivery, partnering across Deployment, Sales, Legal, Finance, Technical Revenue, and Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own assigned deals from intake through approval, signature, and operational handoff
- Draft and revise SOWs, work orders, and change orders using approved templates; partner with Legal on non-standard terms
- Validate rate cards, fees, hours, resourcing, discounts, margins, and billing milestones against guardrails
- Coordinate reviews and approvals across multiple functions; surface gaps early and maintain stakeholder alignment
- Identify and resolve delivery and commercial risks, including scope clarity, feasibility, and downstream implications
- Maintain accurate deal records, approval evidence, and status updates; ensure clean post-signature handoff
- Improve templates, playbooks, and workflows to increase deal quality and speed
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of B2B experience in deal desk, commercial contracts, contract management, professional-services operations, sales operations, or order management
- 3+ years of substantial hands-on experience drafting and revising customer-facing SOWs for professional-services engagements
- Experience with pricing-validation, commercial intake, approval, and routing workflows
- Ability to translate technical or service requirements into contract-ready scope, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria
- Sound judgment and independent ownership of complex deals; ability to escalate high-risk issues
- Working knowledge of quote-to-cash and how SOW structure affects delivery, billing, and revenue recognition
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive deals while influencing without formal authority
Preferred: contract management experience in professional services, cloud/enterprise SaaS/AI environments, familiarity with fixed-fee and milestone-based engagements, experience with Salesforce, CPQ, contract-lifecycle-management tools, and a track record of improving commercial workflows.
