We are seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee production operations at our St Peters workshop. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for your production stage, ensuring consistently high quality and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for keeping targets on track, signing off on completed work, and leading a team to deliver their best through coaching, motivation, and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for your production stage, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met
- Monitor and maintain targets, with sign-off authority on all completed work
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals
- Drive continuous improvement by refining processes and implementing training programs
- Champion safety protocols, lean principles, and foster a positive team culture
- Collaborate with other production leads and the department manager to drive operational efficiency
The role is based at our St Peters workshop, which offers ample parking and convenient access to public transport (train and bus stops nearby).
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading or supervising a team (automotive industry experience is advantageous but not required)
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Current NSW driver's licence
