As Production Team Lead for the Fever Originals team in Australia & New Zealand, you will lead the regional production team responsible for delivering touring and recurring experiences across the market. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing all aspects of production in one of Fever's best-performing regions, managing a diverse portfolio of experiences across all verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the Australia production team, creating a supportive environment and focusing on team member growth
- Assess regional projects and assign work to team members or freelancers as appropriate
- Support the team in managing priorities, monitoring progress toward deliverables, and solving complex production challenges
- Provide production expertise during feasibility and planning stages of pipeline development
- Oversee kit movement, trucking logistics, and cross-site loading coordination
- Handle venue preparation including procurement, permits, insurance, and technical validation for diverse site types (parks, stadiums, open fields)
- Manage build costing, monitor budgets, and proactively identify cost overruns
- Support Production Directors in developing tools and processes to streamline operations and optimize efficiency
- Maintain an active directory of freelancers and service providers; cultivate industry networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and stakeholders to align and execute event deliverables
- Manage multiple concurrent productions and help scale Fever's flagship IPs, adapting global standards to regional needs
- Support the wider originals team in developing new events and implementing emerging production formats and technologies
- Research new vendors, technologies, and experiential solutions
- Handle administrative duties including expense reports, invoicing, and contract work with legal
- Travel domestically and internationally as required; work across time zones

Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in live event production industry
- 1–2 years of people management experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Innovative, solution-focused mindset to identify and resolve problems creatively
- Experience in personnel management and team talent development
- Strong leadership, initiative, and prioritization skills
- Broad network of vendors and venues; experience with permitting, rules, and regulations
- Strong understanding of technical production requirements and basic fabrication techniques knowledge
- Curious, eager to learn, willing to push boundaries and try new concepts; ability to acquire new skills quickly
- Ability to communicate effectively with partners, brands, agencies, and talent; collaborative and hands-on approach
- Deep knowledge of local government approvals (event permits, planning, building, signage)
- Experience navigating Australian liquor regulations (complex and state-specific)
- Working knowledge of BCA requirements, safety standards, and fire codes for public indoor and outdoor spaces
- Construction manager experience or theater construction/contractor management experience is a plus
