Anduril Industries is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the manufacturing team at Arsenal-1, a state-of-the-art hyper-scale manufacturing facility in Ashville, Ohio. You will manage a team of up to 30 production technicians responsible for manufacturing Barracuda autonomous air vehicles and related defense systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct daily production operations, issuing work orders, and removing blockers to achieve on-time delivery targets
- Manage and mentor technician staff through all phases of production, acceptance testing, and delivery
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and proactively identify safety improvement opportunities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and complete daily transactions in production systems (NetSuite/JIRA)
- Lead cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality teams
- Participate actively in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support operator training and be able to work on the production line as needed
- Generate daily pass-downs, quality reports, and weekly production progress reports
- Execute standardized manufacturing instructions and control plans
- Drive issue resolution including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking
- Build a positive, collaborative team culture focused on product knowledge and skills development
This is a highly dynamic role requiring both frontline technical expertise and strong people management skills. The role requires relocation to Costa Mesa, California for a 3-month training program with Anduril's world-class manufacturing team before establishing operations in Ohio. Housing and transportation are provided during training.
