Anduril Industries is seeking a Production Scheduler to join its manufacturing team in Santa Ana, California. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the flow of products through the production process for cutting-edge defense technology systems.
Key responsibilities include providing tactical scheduling and strategic long-range planning expertise to production teams. You will coordinate inputs from business and planning functions to create an integrated master schedule, ensuring MRP systems accurately reflect production realities. Using tools like Foundry and other applications, you'll schedule work, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently.
You will prepare daily work schedules, track progress, update critical path schedules, and advise leadership on needed adjustments. Your work involves schedule baseline change control, performance tracking, critical path analysis, and variance analysis. You'll ensure production requirements are properly scheduled to facilitate efficient operations and coordinate support from inspection, testing, engineering, and supply chain teams to meet program deliverables.
Additionally, you will lead root-cause analysis efforts on issues discovered during product builds, identify improvement opportunities for yield, quality, safety, and cost, and support process automation initiatives. You'll organize and communicate daily priorities to production coordinators, team leads, and supervisors, providing daily visibility, weekly status updates, and monthly performance reviews. The role also involves developing scheduling tools and initiatives to support Anduril's scheduling maturation.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3 years of manufacturing scheduling experience, and U.S. Person status due to access to export-controlled information. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years with MS Project or similar software, 4+ years with ERP/MRP systems, familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen, PMP certification, and availability for extended hours and weekends.
