Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Production Program Manager to oversee the manufacturing and production lifecycle for Barracuda, a cutting-edge military system. Reporting to the Head of Production, you will drive the transition from prototype to scalable production, working cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, operations, quality, program management, and leadership teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Process Optimization: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness during development and pre-production phases, aligned with cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) objectives.
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track progress, and identify solutions to ensure successful transition to full-scale production.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to internal teams and leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Resource Management: Allocate materials, labor, and equipment to meet production readiness goals.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and roadblocks that could impact project timelines or operational readiness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate between engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, program management, growth, quality, and leadership to align pre-production efforts with business objectives.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; 8+ years in operations program management, production, or manufacturing (preferably defense, aerospace, or complex hardware); strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management; experience launching new products on condensed timelines; proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, TPS, Six Sigma) and tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Gantt Charts); excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams; eligibility for U.S. security clearance.
Preferred: Defense, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing experience; familiarity with ERP, MRP, MES, or PLM systems.
Note: Up to 25% travel required.
