Form Energy is a manufacturing and energy technology company revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day iron-air battery systems. The company has been recognized by TIME, MIT Technology Review, and Fast Company for innovation in climate tech. Production is underway at a 550,000-square-foot high-volume manufacturing facility in Weirton, WV.
The Production Planner manages and optimizes production planning, scheduling, and reporting through Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. This role ensures alignment across Operations, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Finance to achieve production goals, efficient resource planning, and costing accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Represent Production Planning at daily operations meetings, communicating schedule changes and challenges
- Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet deadlines while accommodating trial requests
- Create and manage production work orders for multiple lines in Oracle
- Manage new part cut-over processes across production lines
- Maintain accurate production data in Oracle (work orders, materials, resource utilization)
- Collaborate with ERP project teams to define and configure production processes, routings, BOMs, and work centers
- Monitor real-time production progress using dashboards and analytics
- Act as primary point of contact for production-related ERP issues, troubleshooting data discrepancies
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reports in Oracle and BI tools
- Partner with IT and Oracle support teams for system upgrades and enhancements
- Support Finance in managing standard costing, work order variances, and cost roll-ups
- Ensure accurate recording of material consumption, labor hours, and overhead allocations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
The role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV, an easy commute from Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation assistance is available.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Systems, or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in production control, planning, or manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically in Manufacturing, Inventory, and Costing modules
- Strong understanding of ERP data structures including BOMs, routings, work centers, and cost elements
- Proficient in Oracle reporting tools, analytics dashboards, and Excel
- Experience supporting ERP implementation or upgrade projects
- Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic production environment
