Better.com is rebuilding home finance as an AI-native platform, transforming a process that once took weeks into something achievable in seconds. The company has funded over $110B in loans and raised $1.2B+ in equity capital, operating at significant scale while rethinking homeownership from the ground up.
As a Production Partner at NEO Home Loans (powered by Better), you will play a critical operational role in supporting the mortgage lending process. You will be responsible for following up with new leads and scheduling initial consultations with Mortgage Advisors, ensuring no opportunities are missed through consistent, timely communication.
You will collect and organize borrower information, helping clients complete loan applications accurately and efficiently. A key responsibility involves managing documentation requests—providing clear instructions to borrowers, following up consistently to gather required materials, and ensuring they understand next steps and timelines.
Before files move to pre-approval review, you will review and organize all borrower documents for completeness, proper labeling, and correct system upload. You will also communicate with referral partners throughout the early loan process stages, confirming lead receipt and providing status updates to keep them informed of their client's progress.
Additional responsibilities include helping manage the Mortgage Advisor's calendar and communications by booking consultations, organizing follow-ups, and coordinating schedules so the advisor can focus on client relationships and loan strategy. You will maintain accurate CRM records of lead activity, borrower interactions, and loan progress, ensuring the pipeline remains organized and reporting stays accurate.
Better's proprietary AI platform, Tinman®, and voice-based AI assistant, Betsy™, support the lending process. The company has received multiple industry awards including Banking Tech Award USA (2026) for Best LendTech Solution and Fintech Breakthrough Award (2026) for Digital Mortgage Company of the Year.
