As a Production Operations Manager, you will lead teams of up to 100 agents in a fast-paced, global operations environment. Your core responsibilities include managing direct and indirect reports, defining team priorities and project timelines, and driving continuous process optimization. You'll take ownership of team development, guiding people to unlock their full potential while leading by example on complex customer issues.
You'll collaborate across global teams to improve service levels and make critical business decisions by analyzing complex business cases. The role requires you to design and implement scalable systems, programs, and processes that support hyper-growth and exceptional customer service. You'll own key business line metrics, improve team performance and decision-making quality, and establish vendor/partner relationships for strategic deal-making.
The ideal candidate has at least a 2:1 degree from a top university and experience in engineering (graduates welcome). You need proven experience managing large teams with direct and indirect reports in structured, KPI-focused environments like startups. Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills are essential. You must excel in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple challenges simultaneously with excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of executing projects that measurably improve metrics.
You should be logical, analytical, and experienced in resolving team productivity or quality issues efficiently. A data-driven approach to identifying root causes, measuring performance, and driving process improvements is critical. Nice-to-have skills include SQL, Python, R, and Lean Six Sigma certifications.
