As Asset Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance operations and equipment reliability function for Relativity's manufacturing facility in Long Beach. You own the availability, reliability, and safe operation of critical production assets—from 3D printers to specialized manufacturing equipment—that are essential to building rockets at scale.
You will manage and develop a team of maintenance supervisors, leads, and technicians, establishing clear ownership, shift coverage, escalation protocols, and performance standards. Your responsibilities include:
• Leading asset maintenance operations to maximize equipment availability and drive preventive maintenance completion
• Managing maintenance performance through the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), tracking downtime, response times, repair cycles, backlog, and repeat failures
• Developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies based on asset criticality and failure history
• Partnering with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Supply Chain, and equipment vendors to troubleshoot failures and implement root cause corrective actions
• Managing maintenance budgets, service vendors, repair priorities, and equipment lifecycle decisions
• Driving data-based reliability improvements and eliminating repeat failures
