Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Production Lead to oversee all production activities for a maritime autonomous vehicle program. You will build and lead the production organization from the ground up, establishing manufacturing processes, quality systems, and infrastructure to scale from prototype builds through full-rate production. Key responsibilities include owning all production activity (manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and production support), building and leading the production organization by hiring across manufacturing engineering, quality, and operations, and establishing manufacturing processes for complex electromechanical vehicles. You will drive the manufacturing development lifecycle from concept through full-rate production (FRP), manage production budgets and schedules, and own production readiness reviews and design handoffs from engineering. Additional duties involve coordinating supply chain activities including demand planning, procurement, and warehouse operations, implementing and optimizing production systems (ERP, MES, QMS), and driving continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies. You must ensure compliance with AS9100D and customer quality requirements, interface with engineering, program management, and customer organizations, and travel up to 25% to manufacturing facilities and customer sites. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent, 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or production for complex electromechanical systems, experience building and leading production teams and organizations, demonstrated experience scaling production from NPI through full-rate production, experience with production systems (ERP, MES, QMS), and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred qualifications include experience in maritime, aerospace, or defense manufacturing, working knowledge of AS9100D quality management systems, experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, familiarity with shipbuilding or large vehicle production, and experience managing production budgets in the $10M+ range.
