Telnyx is building the future of global connectivity through a private, multi-cloud IP network and hyperlocal edge technology. This Product Support Engineer role is for a technically-minded problem solver who will troubleshoot complex customer issues across voice, messaging, APIs, IoT, and AI products.
You'll investigate networking problems, debug integrations, and analyze logs alongside engineering teams. The role goes beyond ticket closure: you'll help shape an AI-first support model by building bots, automating workflows, and turning repetitive tasks into scalable solutions. If you've spotted a repetitive task and built the fix, you'll fit right in.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues across networking, APIs, and communications products using tools like Postman, cURL, Wireshark, and Linux terminal; investigating root causes and collaborating with customers, vendors, and engineering teams; contributing to bot-building and workflow automation; documenting solutions and improving self-service resources; and learning VoIP protocols, internal systems, and emerging technologies.
You'll need a background in Computer Science, IT, networking, or equivalent hands-on experience. Must-haves include solid networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, IP addressing, HTTP/HTTPS), comfortable API experience with REST APIs and tools like Postman, Linux terminal proficiency, strong problem-solving mindset, and high proficiency in English (written and verbal). Nice-to-haves include scripting/programming experience (Python, Bash, JavaScript), understanding of AI concepts (RAG, MCPs, embeddings, prompt engineering), and experience with n8n, Zapier, or Git/GitHub.
The role operates on Central Time (UTC+1), 9am–6pm Monday to Friday, based in EMEA with office options in Dublin, Krakow, Amsterdam, or Bucharest.
