Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Sourcing Engineer to join its Fort Collins, Colorado team. You will drive sourcing, supplier development, and material availability for production components supporting radar and sensor manufacturing lines. This role sits at the intersection of supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing, requiring hands-on collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure parts availability, quality, and cost targets are met.
Key responsibilities include conducting supplier selection for production components using Anduril's approved supplier list; partnering with suppliers and internal engineering to qualify components and resolve supply issues during production ramp; supporting development and consolidation of manufacturing bills of materials (BOM) with Quality and Manufacturing teams; owning part availability and material planning in the ERP/MRP system; contributing to BOM risk assessments and identifying alternate/second-source components; driving component and supplier rationalization to reduce complexity; tracking supplier performance and supporting cost-awareness initiatives; and establishing sourcing policies and standards.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related technical field; 1–2 years of supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing experience; demonstrated purchasing and procurement process knowledge (MLQs, volume price breaks); hands-on ERP/MRP system experience (NetSuite or similar); supplier management and negotiation skills; custom parts procurement experience; and broad commodity experience including PCBA. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential in this fast-paced, resource-limited environment.
Preferred qualifications include experience sourcing electronics and/or mechanical components for RF/sensor or complex hardware; BOM development and component qualification familiarity; exposure to value engineering, should-cost modeling, or total-cost-of-ownership work; and experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principles.
