Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Operations Technical Specialist to support Ghost, a middle-sized unmanned aerial system (UAS) platform designed for tactical edge autonomy. In this role, you will be the operational backbone for deployed Ghost systems, ensuring mission-critical availability for U.S. and allied military customers.
You will own the full lifecycle of incident management—from triage and root-cause analysis to resolution and fleet-wide optimization. This includes conducting deep technical diagnostics on electromechanical systems, reviewing system logs, and leveraging Linux command-line tools to resolve complex hardware-software-networking issues. You'll analyze failure data across the fleet to identify trends, drive proactive sustainment, and inform resource allocation decisions.
Key responsibilities include: sustaining deployed capabilities by combining customer mission understanding with product expertise; diagnosing and resolving product incidents while driving postmortem improvements; improving fleet observability and health telemetry in partnership with engineering teams; collecting and analyzing system failure data; supporting global customers through proactive communication and detail-oriented execution; evaluating product capabilities based on customer feedback; bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders; and coordinating efforts across business, engineering, and sustainment functions to maximize capability availability.
You must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills in unstructured, ambiguous situations at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking. You should demonstrate the ability to master complex technical systems and support them in operational environments with consistent excellence and rigor. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication is essential, as you'll be interfacing across multiple disciplines and customer organizations. Travel to support customer needs and operations is required.
Required qualifications include demonstrated self-sufficiency in technical problem-solving, proven ability to master and support technical systems operationally, comfort navigating ambiguity, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance. Preferred experience includes observability tooling (Grafana, PagerDuty), Unix-like shells (Bash, Zsh), Palantir Foundry, incident-driven workflows, on-call support operations, DOD or government agency background, and 1+ years of final-tier customer/technical support.
