Salary: USD 98,000 - 130,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Counter-Intrusion Business Line develops products that enable operators to protect people and assets from threats on land and sea, deployed across major global operating theaters.
As a Product Operations Technical Specialist on the Counter Intrusion product operations team, you will maintain the health of deployed Counter Intrusion technology systems. Your core responsibilities include identifying, triaging, escalating, and managing resolution of all incidents across the deployed fleet. You will combine understanding of customer missions with familiarity of Anduril's products and integrations to sustain deployments.
Key responsibilities:
- Triage, diagnose, and root-cause product incidents; drive postmortem actions and provide status visibility through resolution
- Assess and improve the quality of fleet observability and telemetry in partnership with product teams
- Develop fleet health reporting across the Counter Intrusion technology stack, continuously assessing deviations from baseline
- Interface with internal operations and product teams to identify and solve system or product reliability issues
- Support global customers through proactive communications and detail-oriented execution
- Propose process and product improvements based on customer feedback and available metrics/analytics
- Perform maintenance on Anduril hardware using Linux command line functions
You should have an aptitude for debugging and a passion for real-time response, rapid resolution, and root-causing complex issues on electromechanical systems. REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience as a self-starter, able to find and resolve issues independently
- Strong aptitude for problem-solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking; ability to drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution
- Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in operational environments; must demonstrate innate drive to take ownership and be self-sufficient across the depth and breadth of the technical system
- Daily practice of excellence and rigor—execute processes with consistent focus and care
- Confident navigating ambiguity and crafting new ways of doing things
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance; prior clearances a plus
- Must be able to be on-site in Irvine, CA (relocation assistance provided)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior military or government agency exposure/experience
- Experience with observability tooling such as DataDog, Grafana, or Palantir Foundry; exposure to software development tooling such as Git; exposure to issue tracking tools such as Jira
- Experience with on-call support operations and working in limited risk tolerance production environments
- Willingness to work non-standard hours and weekends
- 3+ years of customer/technical support experience
