Honeydew Health is a venture-backed healthcare startup building the future of skin health through a patient-facing app, provider tools, admin systems, and a prescription skincare line (DewRx). Founded by a Wharton entrepreneur and prominent dermatologist, the company is backed by leaders from Google, McKinsey, Flatiron Health, and DoorDash.
You will be Honeydew's first Product Operations Manager, sitting on the Product team and reporting to the Head of Product and AI. You'll work day-to-day with PMs, designers, engineers, and care operations leaders to bridge the gap between what operations teams need and what the product team builds.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the intake process for feedback from care teams and providers through suggestion boxes, weekly syncs, escalations, support tickets, and incident patterns
- Size and rank incoming requests by frequency, patient/staff impact, time cost, and clinical risk; bring prioritized, evidence-backed views to roadmap planning
- Close the loop with Operations on all requests, including those not prioritized
- Bring operational and clinical workflow expertise into specs and design reviews, identifying edge cases, acceptance criteria, and potential failure points for different roles
- Run shadow sessions and workflow walkthroughs so PMs, designers, and engineers understand real-world tool usage
- Own launch readiness for releases affecting care operations: release calendars, readiness checklists, go/no-go decisions, role-specific change summaries, and first-week monitoring
- Partner with the Enablement team to ensure training aligns with feature launches
- Build AI-powered workflows to accelerate feedback synthesis, scoring, release notes, launch tracking, and knowledge base management
You'll see healthcare friction—regulatory constraints, provider workflows, insurance/pharmacy logistics, compliance requirements—not as blockers but as opportunities to radically improve patient experience and access to treatment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years in product operations, launch/program management, or care/clinical operations with significant product exposure
- Experience running an intake or prioritization process with scoring frameworks (e.g., RICE) and judgment to know when scores are misleading
- Deep familiarity with healthcare operations (care coordination, clinical workflows, pharmacy, etc.) OR clear track record of learning complex operational domains quickly
- Experience owning launches that changed how operations teams work day-to-day
- Strong written communication: ability to explain changes clearly to care coordinators, providers, and engineers, tailoring messaging to each audience
- Comfort with data: can pull and read numbers independently to answer operational questions
- Heavy, current use of AI tools in daily work; ideally experience building simple agents or automations
- Track record of building systems others continue using after you move on
- Startup experience and comfort creating structure where none exists
NICE TO HAVE:
- Telehealth, digital health, or pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with REMS programs (e.g., iPledge), prescription workflows, or lab integrations
- Background as a care coordinator or clinical ops lead before transitioning to product
