N26 is seeking a Product Manager for its Product Factory—the core engine of N26's banking platform. The Product Factory builds modular, reusable components (flexible APIs, configuration engines, product catalogs) that enable N26 to rapidly launch and customize financial products across Europe while maintaining compliance and data integrity.
In this role, you will own the internal platforms and infrastructure that allow N26's regional and market teams to dynamically configure and launch new financial products (savings accounts, premium tiers, localized lending features) without engineering intervention. You will drive the strategy and execution of self-service product configuration tools, define the roadmap for N26's core product infrastructure, and manage the central product catalog—the system of record for financial features, interest rates, limits, and fee structures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and scaling internal self-service tools for product configuration and orchestration
- Owning platform strategy and roadmap for core product infrastructure, including transactional and gateway data flows
- Maintaining the central product catalog with high system availability and data integrity
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and core engineers to improve platform architecture
- Navigating compliance requirements and working with Legal, Operations, and Compliance to embed automated guardrails into the Product Factory
- Managing relationships and integrations with third-party core banking providers and external financial vendors
The role is based in Barcelona, which serves as one of N26's primary product and tech hubs alongside Berlin. You will work with a diverse, multinational team of 1,500+ employees across multiple European offices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in FinTech, modern banking, core banking providers, or complex platform/API-driven ecosystems
- Strong technical and data acumen: familiarity with backend architectures, relational databases, system integrations, and building/managing internal API products; ability to communicate fluently with engineering teams
- Domain knowledge: proven experience with centralized digital product catalogs, configuration engines, or complex financial orchestration systems
- Vendor management experience: previous success managing high-engagement third-party vendors and aligning external roadmaps with internal engineering goals (major plus)
- Undergraduate degree in STEM, Business, or Economics; MBA, MS, or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
- Autonomous, adaptive operator with entrepreneurial mindset, strong bias for action, and exceptional verbal and written communication
- Deep understanding of agile product development, continuous integration, and scalable delivery practices
