As a Product Manager, you will own a specific product area within WorkWhile's two-sided marketplace and report to the Head of Product. You will be responsible for end-to-end product ownership, from discovery through execution and shipping.
Key responsibilities include:
**Discovery & Definition:** Understand user workflows, data, and constraints for your product area. Lead discovery and scoping conversations with stakeholders, often starting from ambiguous briefs. Own the feedback loop by synthesizing user signals into actionable product patterns.
**Product & Roadmap:** Define and prioritize what gets built in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders. Make clear prioritization calls on what to build now versus defer. Drive rapid iteration cycles by getting prototypes in front of users quickly and learning from feedback. Ensure your learnings influence the broader roadmap beyond your own backlog.
**Execution:** Write product specs, define success metrics, and manage delivery with engineering from kickoff through ship. Keep GTM, Customer Support, and Operations aligned on what you're building and why.
You will work directly with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into clear product direction. Your specific area of ownership will depend on where the roadmap needs you most.
**Requirements:**
- 2-3+ years of product management experience, OR equivalent experience in a highly analytical, customer-facing, or data-facing role (consulting, analytics, engineering, operations) with a clear trajectory toward product management
- Comfort operating in ambiguity; ability to scope work from incomplete briefs and move forward effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with engineers, operators, and stakeholders
- Strong instinct for prioritization; ability to distinguish between what stakeholders are asking for and what they actually need
- Demonstrated track record of shipping; ability to point to product work owned end-to-end
