Roger is an AI platform designed to eliminate paperwork burden for home health clinicians, enabling them to focus on patient care. The company has raised funding from leading healthcare investors like SignalFire and has already powered millions of visits across thousands of clinicians.
As an early-stage Product Manager, you will own product direction and shape how product management scales at Roger. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular customer research with clinicians and agency leaders to deeply understand workflows and pain points
- Own the full product discovery and direction process: identify high-impact problems, translate customer needs into clear specifications, and define success metrics
- Partner closely with the engineering team throughout the development cycle, from specification through launch
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and operations to validate priorities and ensure solutions work in real-world settings
- Drive measurable outcomes by defining success metrics, analyzing usage data, and iterating based on results
- Make strategic tradeoffs with incomplete information while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
- 3+ years of product management experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments
- Technical background (engineering, customer success, or hands-on experience building with technical teams) enabling deep conversations about AI/ML systems
- First-principles thinking: ability to break problems down to fundamentals rather than relying on precedent
- Strong customer instincts with comfort spending time in the field, on customer calls, and analyzing data
- Experience owning workflow-heavy or operational products where details matter
- Ability to communicate clearly, align stakeholders, and write specifications that engineers find actionable
- High ownership mentality and comfort operating in ambiguity
- Mission motivation: genuine interest in healthcare and building products that improve clinicians' lives
