Duvo is building an AI operations platform for retail and CPG enterprises—a horizontal platform where AI agents execute end-to-end work across UIs and APIs with governance built in. The company is solving real problems for real customers with strong traction, and is looking for exceptional talent to scale.
As a Product Engineer, you will own end-to-end product features from user-facing UI to API to data to deployment. Your unit of ownership is user-facing features and the systems behind them, delivered to production and measured against customer impact. You'll connect technical choices to customer outcomes and ship with high velocity under ambiguity.
The role requires shipping and ownership—you've repeatedly taken ambiguous requirements to production and own the full stack of a feature (UI, API, data, deployment). You have strong product judgment: you can define MVP scope, pick the right metric to move, and kill work that isn't delivering value. You're comfortable working alongside AI systems (at work or in side projects) and can build features that interact with LLM outputs, such as parsing agent responses and designing human-in-the-loop flows, though you won't be training models. You care deeply about product quality—noticing when something is off and fixing it. You're low-ego, team-first, give and receive direct feedback, and align proactively with product and design. You thrive in fast-moving environments, often defining your own scope based on customer problems and shipping within a week.
The tech stack is TypeScript-first (Next.js, React, Tailwind, Fastify, Kysely/PostgreSQL, Zod), GCP, and latest AI primitives. You don't need to know all of these but should be excited to learn them quickly.
Duvo operates initiative-driven, customer-obsessed, and iterative by default. The company ships small, learns fast, and uses AI to move faster. Direct feedback is immediate and actionable. You'll have autonomy with accountability—trusted to make decisions and held to outcomes, not process.
The company offers unlimited AI budget (tools and automation encouraged), autonomy to do your best work, a real AI product with real customers (not demos), and a sharp, motivated team that values ownership and candor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated shipping and ownership: repeatedly taken ambiguous requirements to production
- Full-stack feature ownership (UI, API, data, deployment)
- Strong product judgment: MVP scoping, metric selection, ruthless prioritization
- AI comfort: worked alongside AI systems at work or in side projects; comfortable with LLM outputs, parsing agent responses, human-in-the-loop design
- Strong sense of product quality and attention to detail
- Low-ego collaboration; direct, constructive feedback; proactive alignment with product and design
- Ability to define scope and ship within a week in fast-moving environments
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Strong sense for security and reliability in production systems
- Scalable, distributed-system design and operations experience
- Deep applied LLM experience (evaluation design, prompt engineering, safety controls, cost optimization)
- Experience designing interfaces for AI-assisted workflows
NOT A FIT IF:
- You need significant hand-holding or aren't energized by figuring things out yourself
- You primarily want to work on infrastructure
