Visoid is a web-based architectural visualization platform founded in 2023 that helps architects bring their designs to life. The company has achieved rapid growth with customers in over 120 countries, including leading firms like Nordic, Leo A Daly, and S+A, which have collectively generated over 6 million visualizations. Visoid has raised over €3 million from leading Nordic investors and is scaling the team.
As a Product Engineer, you will be an early hire serving as a cornerstone of the company with significant influence on strategic decisions. You will own features end-to-end, from understanding user problems to designing, building, and shipping solutions across front-end and back-end. Your responsibilities include:
- Owning complete feature development from conception through shipping, working across the full stack
- Regularly engaging with users to understand their needs and inform product strategy
- Designing and delivering intuitive, user-friendly application experiences with attention to craft and detail
- Adopting a user-centric approach to drive product growth and continuous improvement
- Prototyping quickly, validating ideas with real users, and iterating based on feedback
- Leveraging modern tooling including AI coding agents to ship faster and raise quality standards
The role is rapidly evolving and will look significantly different in six months. You will work in a 13-person team representing 10 nationalities, primarily located in-person at the Oslo office. REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field of study
- At least 3 years of professional full-time experience as a software developer
- Experience working with product development and UX design
- Prior experience in fast-paced startups, scale-ups, or product-led growth companies
- Proficiency in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Vue
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, testing, Git/version control, and code quality
- Experience with full-stack development, databases, and software architecture
- Familiarity with agent-first development using tools like Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI-driven workflows
Optional qualifications:
- Sense of aesthetics and design, either in architecture or other visual/creative fields
- Experience working with 3D and 3D applications
- Other skills addressing startup challenges
Preference for candidates already located in Oslo or with existing right to work in Norway and willingness to relocate.
