Traction Rec is seeking a Product Developer to join their team as they scale. You'll play a central role in building best-in-class SaaS products and AI agents across two environments: the Salesforce platform and a modern, cloud-native stack. This is a hybrid role based in the Greater Vancouver area. Traction Rec empowers nonprofit organizations—YMCAs, Jewish Community Centers, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Salvation Army Kroc Centers—to strengthen their communities through technology built on Salesforce. The company has been recognized as a Salesforce Nonprofit Sales Partner of the Year and ISV Partner of the Year, and was named to Globe & Mail's Top Growing Companies (2024, 2025) and Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 (2024) and Fast 500 (2024, 2025). The company is committed to the Pledge 1% for the Planet and is a Living Wage Certified employer in British Columbia. Salesforce ISV experience is not required—strong fundamental product development experience in other industries is welcome, and the company will teach platform specifics. REQUIREMENTS: - Computer Science degree or equivalent professional experience - 2+ years professional experience in object-oriented programming on a product - Web development experience using component-based JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React) - Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications - Excellent communication skills and experience working in highly collaborative development teams - Strong knowledge of relational databases - Highly motivated with ability to work and make decisions independently - Plus: Experience with trunk-based development and continuous delivery in cloud environments (AWS, Vercel) - Bonus: Experience automating processes with AI and using AI coding agents to ship high-quality code
