Salary: USD 140,000 - 180,000 / annual
STLabs is an AI service management platform that resolves employee requests end-to-end with full organizational context. The platform enables requests that traditionally took days to be resolved in minutes, directly within employees' existing workflows.
You will lead the design of the next-generation Service Management product, defining how the self-service AI agent interacts with customers. This is a hands-on role where you design and learn by building—using AI coding tools to create interactive prototypes, explore multiple design directions, and test directly with customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design of the next-generation Service Management product
- Using AI coding tools to explore, refine, and share your work
- Building prototypes for direct customer testing
- Defining AI-driven experiences, including conversational flows and dynamic UIs
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams to shape product direction
- Helping define and grow the design system
- Iterating quickly in a high-velocity startup environment
You will work in-person at 2 Penn Plaza (directly above Penn Station) five days a week, collaborating directly with the CEO and Head of Design in a high-growth startup environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–6+ years of product design experience working on professional tools
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and use of AI coding tools
- Fluency in and passion for understanding how products and design processes are changing in the AI era
- Deep appreciation for design critique as part of a high-performing team
- Mastery of atomic design principles and component-based UI architectures
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment
- Bonus: experience designing data visualizations and/or working with graph databases
- Bonus: experience in IT operations, ITSM, DevOps, or complex enterprise domains
