Stable is a B2B SaaS company on a mission to modernize entity management for businesses. The company provides business addresses and a dashboard for companies to manage physical mail online, serving 15,000+ customers including Brex, Doordash, and Gusto. Stable is backed by Y Combinator, Craft Ventures, and other leading Silicon Valley investors, and is at an inflection point with rapid growth and strong product-market fit.
As a Product Designer, you'll work in an AI-forward, builder-led environment where you own work from discovery through delivery. You'll write product briefs, query live business data, and work increasingly close to the code. Key responsibilities include:
- Hunt for data and customer opportunities using Stable's custom internal MCP to spin up reports and dashboards, and speak directly with users to understand pain points.
- Make product decisions by balancing intuition, data, and research to determine what to build, cut, and when to ship.
- Design product solutions using tools like Figma, Claude, and Cursor, making final refinements in Figma or code as appropriate.
- Partner with engineering by embedding with a "pod" (3-4 team members) to deliver value to customers and the business.
- Build and evolve design systems, creating reusable patterns and using LLM code assistants to improve product quality.
- Bridge digital and physical by designing solutions that work seamlessly across software and real-world operations—clicking a button has real-world implications.
- Evolve how the team designs by staying curious about new tools, AI, and generative technology, automating tedious work while preserving the human side of design.
- Drive alignment by communicating clearly with stakeholders across the company.
A defining aspect of this role is the nature of the problems: Stable sits at the intersection of digital software and physical operations. You'll understand real-world workflows inside processing centers handling 1M+ pieces of mail and translate that complexity into simple, intuitive software. The design team is small but established; you'll build on strong foundations, collaborate with experienced designers, and shape how design scales across the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience in product design at fast-moving companies
- Experience as a product design generalist: comfortable shifting between research, UI design, systems thinking, and everything in between
- Interest in emerging design tools and AI-assisted workflows; you see where the industry is headed and are moving in that direction
- Strong project management skills and a track record of driving projects to completion
- Excellent design foundations (hierarchy, layout, typography, interaction design)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to break down complex problems into clear, iterative milestones
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED:
- Experience at B2B companies
BONUS:
- Experience designing for physical real-world processes
- Familiarity with frontend code and component systems
