Salary: USD 180,000 - 210,000 / annual
AscendArc is a startup revolutionizing the satellite communications industry. As Product Assurance Manager, you will serve as the mission assurance technical authority for the program, operating as an independent branch reporting to leadership.
You will own the PA program end-to-end, including the PA plan, unit qualification review process, and supplier PA flow-down. Key responsibilities include owning qualification readiness and review boards, driving the reliability, EEE parts, and DPA programs, and contributing safety hazard analyses (hazardous and pressure systems, ordnance, and battery) that feed into the launcher safety submission owned by the Lead Systems Engineer.
You will work across all engineering leads, suppliers, and the customer's assurance organization to ensure the spacecraft is built and qualified to standard. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a revolutionary satellite communications system from concept through testing and flight.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years in product/mission assurance for space or high-reliability hardware
- B.S. in an engineering or physical-science discipline
- Demonstrated ownership of a PA program, including PA planning, qualification, and supplier PA flow-down
- Working knowledge of reliability engineering (FMECA), EEE parts control, derating, and DPA
- Familiarity with safety hazard analysis for hazardous/pressure systems, ordnance, and batteries
- Independent, rigorous approach; able to hold a qualification standard while working constructively with engineering and suppliers
- U.S. person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or refugee/asylee status required due to export control regulations)
