Cartesia is an AI company pioneering State Space Models (SSMs) and foundation models for voice and audio. Founded by Stanford AI Lab PhDs, the company is backed by Index Ventures, Lightspeed, and others. You'll serve as the operational backbone for Cartesia's Voice function, working directly with the Voice Production Lead and Voice Library Lead. This is a hands-on role spanning multiple operational domains: Voice Production & Library: Support execution of voice production runs, own day-to-day production and library health reporting, expand to new locales and volumes, and build automations to streamline processes. Sourcing & Talent Logistics: Build systems to source, vet, and create voices for the library. Work with voice acting talent and vendors to scale the voice sourcing pipeline. Customer Voice Delivery & Enablement: Own end-to-end customer-facing voice engagements, drive customer success with voice models, and lead voice-related go-to-market enablement. Ad-hoc Strategy & Growth: Support strategy and operations initiatives, help run events and marketing initiatives in London, and support Cartesia's international expansion on a project basis. You'll need 3–6 years as an operator at a high-growth tech startup or in strategy consulting (MBB or similar). You're a proactive self-starter comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous environments, with customer-facing skills and ability to engage executives. Semi-technical fluency is required—comfortable with tools like Cursor and Claude Code to build lightweight systems, with understanding of core system design concepts. You have genuine enthusiasm for voice and audio technology, not just passing interest. Ideal candidates have AI industry experience (especially AI Strategy, Operations, or Product Operations), a track record of proactive execution, ability to build lightweight systems independently, detail-oriented focus under volume, and credibility with GTM teams and customers without needing senior oversight.
