GetYourGuide is a marketplace connecting travelers with unforgettable experiences worldwide. As Product Analytics Manager for the Travelers team, you will lead the Comparison Analytics function, defining how the company measures and improves the moment travelers choose between experiences on the activity page.
You'll own the analytics strategy for understanding what drives traveler confidence and booking decisions—including how content, reviews, options presentation, and pricing shape choice behavior. This role requires answering complex product questions that go beyond conversion metrics: Which content changes decisions? How do we measure value when conversion alone misses part of the impact? You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Content leaders to shape strategic decisions while building the analytics foundation and team that delivers insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and growing a high-performing analytics team in a fast-growth environment
- Hiring, developing, and coaching analysts into senior individual contributors and leads
- Building measurement frameworks that drive how the business makes decisions, not just reporting on outcomes
- Shaping company strategy and roadmaps through data-driven insights
- Influencing resource allocation and executive decision-making with crisp, actionable recommendations
- Hands-on technical leadership: reviewing complex analyses, spotting flaws, and diving into data when needed
- Designing experiments and applying causal inference methods to measure impact
- Defining metrics and KPIs that matter for the traveler experience
The role is based in Berlin with a hybrid schedule: three days in-office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thu) and two days optional remote focus time. You'll have flexibility to work from anywhere for 30 days per year.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record building and leading analytics teams in fast-growth environments
- Experience coaching analysts into senior roles and leads
- Demonstrated ability to shape company strategy and roadmaps with data
- Experience building measurement frameworks that change how businesses operate
- Hands-on technical fluency: proficiency with SQL, experimentation design, causal inference, and metric definition
- Ability to review complex analyses, identify flaws, and contribute hands-on technical work
- Strong executive communication skills: translating complex analyses into crisp recommendations
- Judgment to push back on ideas and frame unknowns as testable hypotheses
- Preferred: experience in two-sided marketplaces or e-commerce
