Precision Medicine Group seeks a Product Analyst to support the analysis, maintenance, and enhancement of healthcare data products. This is a data-driven role combining US healthcare claims data analysis, product validation, requirements documentation, dashboard development, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Engagement, and Account teams, reporting to the Product Owner. Key responsibilities include:
• Represent the Product team on active projects and participate in daily application operations/development stand-ups
• Support data delivery for product clients
• Analyze large US healthcare claims datasets to identify patterns, data-quality issues, coverage gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and impact analysis
• Compare datasets and product outputs to assess the impact of source changes, business rule revisions, and product enhancements
• Investigate complex data and product issues, perform root-cause analysis, assess business impact, and recommend solutions
• Analyze medical claims, pharmacy claims, prescription, payer, formulary, and patient-level data across multiple dimensions
• Support validation of product outputs, analytical processes, data transformations, and machine-learning results
• Create and maintain product documentation including data dictionaries, business rules, requirements, test scenarios, and validation results
• Support functional testing, data validation, regression testing, defect investigation, and user acceptance testing
• Support feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept initiatives for new healthcare data and analytics capabilities
The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation), business judgment, analytical skills, collaboration, strategic thinking, solutions orientation, and resilience. Up to 5% domestic and/or international travel may be required.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.), Technology (B.Tech.), Computer Science, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or related role
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience analyzing US healthcare data with exposure to medical/pharmacy claims, patient-level data (e.g., McKesson Compile, Symphony PatientSource, Komodo Health), or formulary/market-access data (e.g., MMIT, DRG Fingertip)
• Strong problem-solving skills including ability to structure ambiguous business questions, investigate data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend actionable solutions
PREFERRED:
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Understanding of medical/pharmacy claims, payer hierarchies, BIN-PCN-Group data, formulary data, market access, or patient-services analytics
• Exposure to longitudinal patient analysis, treatment patterns, patient journeys, or payer-access analytics
• Familiarity with Python, APIs, JSON, or machine-learning output validation
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or Agile product-development practices
• Working knowledge of US Healthcare/Market Access
• Experience developing in HIPAA-compliant ecosystems
